Automated Fractional Dermal Needling Techniques (Derma FNS)

Derma FNS uses a multi-speed piercing action allowing the needles to puncture the skin layers at 90 degrees and increases the effectiveness of treatments by increasing absorption of products. On the other hand, it reduces pain and patient downtime.

Derma FNS uses vertical insertions to create thousands of tiny holes in the skin causing the release of serum growth factors which stimulate the breakdown of old fibrous collagen and stimulate new collagen and Elastin development.

Derma FNS is much safer and more effective in piercing the skin than Needling Rollers. It has a superior effect on collagen and elastin rejuvenation. Active ingredients are directly supplied to deeper layers of the skin without epidermal damage.

Derma FNS is as effective as ablative laser treatments, such as Fraxel, IPL and laser resurfacing.

For the treatment of skin tightening, rejuvenation, acne scars, wrinkles and fine lines, minimise pore size, stretch marks, treating alopecia, sun spots, age spots and melisma.

Advantages

  • Better results – greater number of insertions
  • Speed much faster, thousands of holes in seconds
  • Less pain & faster recovery time than Dermal Rollers
  • Easy to treat under the eyes, side of the nose and across the top lip
  • Minimal side effects
  • No cross infection – disposable needles
  • Treats many skin issues

How long does it take?

The treatment takes approximately 1.5 hours per session, which includes the time needed for the anaesthetic cream to take effect (the actual Derma FNS treatment only takes about 30 minutes.)

What Can I expect after treatment?

After the procedure the client’s skin will be red and flushed in appearance in a similar way to moderate sunburn. The client will also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch on the area being treated. This will diminish greatly after a few hours following treatments and within the next 24 hours the skin will be completely healed. After 3 days there is barely any evidence that the procedure has taken place. The majority of clients are suitable for this treatment, including darker skin types, who often are not suitable for deeper chemical peels.

How quickly are results visible?

You should notice a visible improvement to your skin within just 6-8 weeks, with further improvement over a longer period of time. Ongoing treatments will help to achieve optimum results, however just one treatment will provide noticeable results.

What Are The Risks?

There is a very small chance of bruising which can easily be covered.
